Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead the design and execution of interior projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should have experience in the Healthcare And Educational sector with strong creative, technical, and project-management skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients and consultants, and mentor junior designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, material palettes, and detailed design presentations.
• Lead projects from concept development through design development, working drawings, and execution.
• Prepare and review layouts, furniture plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories.
• Create and review BOQs, material specifications, and cost estimates in coordination with the project team.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure design intent, quality, and specifications are maintained during execution.
• Review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and material submissions.
• Present design proposals and project updates to clients and incorporate feedback.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and design documentation.
• Identify design and execution issues and provide practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior/intermediate interior designers.
• Stay updated on current interior-design trends, materials, technologies, and industry practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4 To 6+ years of relevant interior-design experience.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, detailing, and construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or relevant design tools.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and project documentation.
• Strong understanding of working drawings and site execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of budgets and commercial requirements.
