Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: CCTs monitor ECG rhythms on all telemetry patients 24/7. ACTs assist with transport, admissions and discharges, IV and Foley insertion, ADLs, and limited medication administration. Patient population includes CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMIs, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, Covid, post-procedure pacemaker, ablation, and cath lab patients, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. Uses non-titratable cardiac medication drips, including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro.

Shift & Scheduling: Call is not required. Major holidays may be required. One additional shift is required during each 4-week schedule period. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends and holidays.

Floating Requirements: May float to Intensive Care Units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows. Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
