Packaging Artwork Designer (1 to 3 years of exp is required)

Role : Packaging Artwork Designer

Location : Whitefield, Bangalore

Experience: 1-3 Years

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Packaging Designer to join the creative team supporting global packaging and brand communication initiatives for one of our Fortune 10 brands in the Oil & Gas sector.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in packaging artwork, print production, and prepress processes, with a strong understanding of brand consistency and production accuracy. Exposure to GLM workflows/platforms will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and adapt packaging artworks across multiple SKUs and formats
• Prepare print-ready files with strong understanding of:
• Die-lines
• Bleeds & margins
• Color modes (CMYK/Pantone)
• Print specifications
• Work on artwork versioning, localization, and content updates
• Ensure adherence to global brand guidelines and packaging standards
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, production teams, and print vendors
• Conduct quality checks for packaging layouts before final release
• Support prepress and production processes to ensure error-free execution
• Manage multiple packaging adaptation projects within timelines

Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in Packaging Design / Artwork Production
• Strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
• Good understanding of print production and prepress workflows
• Experience working on packaging for FMCG, consumer products, lubricants, chemicals, industrial, or related sectors is preferred
• Exposure to GLM (Global Label Management) workflows/tools is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and file organization practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment

Good to Have

• Experience working with global brands or enterprise clients
• Understanding of multilingual packaging adaptations
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-heavy packaging environments
