HKA Enterprise is seeking a Power Distribution Designer II to join our team in Raleigh, NC!

This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in electrical power distribution design who is looking to grow their technical skills and advance their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop overhead and underground electrical distribution designs.
• Prepare design drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for construction projects.
• Conduct field data collection and project inspections.
• Assist with cable, transformer loading, voltage drop, and pole loading calculations.
• Prepare permitting documents and other project-related paperwork.
• Collaborate with clients, customers, and construction crews.
• Follow established safety standards and support storm restoration efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of power distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an office setting and perform fieldwork as required.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn.
