The role proactively analyzes and recommends enhancements to existing processes, communicates rationale, and negotiates solutions to improve operational effectiveness and client experience. The incumbent contributes to the overall change approach, roadmaps, and implementations of internal and partner-led initiatives. How You’ll Succeed (responsibilities): Research and analyze specialized business information to recommend solutions for operational issues Identify, develop, and implement operational process enhancements to increase departmental efficiency Assess the impact, effectiveness, and feasibility of proposed change decisions and present recommendations to Senior Management Prepare and present reports to Management on project status, upcoming changes, and recommendations Manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Collaborates with Retail Operations teams to identify and implement process improvements Partners with internal stakeholders such as IT, Risk, Compliance, and Project Management to ensure successful change initiatives Engages with external partners and vendors as required for process enhancements and implementation of partner-led initiatives Works closely with Senior Management to present recommendations and influence decision-making Supports communication and coordination across multiple departments to drive operational effectiveness and client experience COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES: As an employee of CIBC, the incumbent must comply with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls AUTHORITIES/DECISION RIGHTS: As a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness JOB DIMENSIONS: Scope includes Retail Account Services portfolio and related process improvement initiatives Responsible for analyzing, recommending, and implementing enhancements impacting departmental efficiency and client satisfaction Accountable for preparing and presenting status reports and change impact assessments to Senior Management Operates with a high degree of independence and accountability Experience: 5 years of experience Who You Are (skills/qualifications): Must Have Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or related field 5 years of experience in process improvement or business analysis preferably in financial/banking services. Adaptability and change management skills to continuously evolve and deliver optimal results.
