Company Description Soft Hear Private Limited operates Soft Hear Speech Hearing & Vertigo Clinic, an independent diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology and speech therapy practice. The clinic provides comprehensive prevention, assessment, and management services for individuals with speech, language, hearing, communication, voice, swallowing, tinnitus, and balance (vertigo/dizziness) disorders. Its specialists focus on personalized care, using evidence-based approaches and modern diagnostic tools to address complex audiological and communication needs. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audiologist role based in Gurugram. The Audiologist will perform detailed audiological assessments, including pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, and other relevant tests to diagnose hearing and balance conditions. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients and families, recommending and fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and providing rehabilitative services for tinnitus and vestibular (vertigo/dizziness) issues. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with speech therapists and other specialists, and participating in prevention and awareness activities related to hearing and communication disorders. The Audiologist is expected to follow ethical clinical practices, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Strong audiological clinical skills, including hearing assessments, vestibular evaluations, and tinnitus management.
- Experience in hearing aid selection, fitting, verification, and follow-up care.
- Proficiency in patient counseling, communication, and education for individuals and families.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with speech therapists and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Solid documentation, case management, and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or Speech and Hearing, from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
- Comfort working on-site in a clinical environment, with flexibility to manage diverse age groups and case complexities.
- Prior experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology or related clinical settings is preferred.
