We are looking for a highly skilled and responsible Interior Designer who can independently handle retail interior projects from concept to production and execution .

This is not a role limited to creating beautiful 3D designs.

We need someone who understands how a design is actually manufactured, detailed, costed and executed .

The ideal candidate will work closely with our Design, Production, Purchase and Installation teams and ensure that every project moves smoothly from client requirement → design → production drawings → manufacturing → installation .

1. Design & Concept Development

• Understand client requirements, brand guidelines and site conditions.
• Develop creative and commercially practical retail interior concepts.
• Prepare space planning, layouts, furniture/fixture designs and detailed interior concepts.
• Create high-quality 3D views/renderings for client presentations.
• Develop designs for retail stores, showrooms and commercial spaces.

2. Production / Working Drawings

• Prepare detailed production-ready drawings for manufacturing.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections and detailed construction drawings.
• Provide accurate dimensions, material specifications and finishing details.
• Prepare detailed drawings for furniture, display units, counters, wall units, storage, lighting integration, etc.
• Ensure drawings are clear enough for the factory team to manufacture without ambiguity.

3. Design-to-Production Coordination

• Coordinate directly with the Production Department.
• Explain drawings and design details to production teams.
• Resolve technical/design issues during manufacturing.
• Modify drawings wherever required based on production feasibility.
• Ensure the final manufactured product matches the approved design.

4. Site Coordination

• Coordinate with site installation teams when required.
• Review site measurements and site conditions.
• Resolve design-related issues during installation.
• Coordinate design changes between client, site team and factory.

5. Material & Technical Knowledge

The candidate should have good knowledge of:

• MDF / plywood / woodwork
• Laminates and finishes
• Glass
• Hardware
• Lighting and electrical integration
• Acrylic / metal / other retail display materials
• Furniture construction and joinery
• Manufacturing methods and installation techniques

Strong working knowledge of:

• AutoCAD – Mandatory
• SketchUp / 3D modelling – Mandatory
• V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion / similar rendering software
• Photoshop / Illustrator – Advantage
• MS Excel – Basic/Intermediate

We are looking for someone who:

✅ Can work under deadlines without compromising quality

✅ Is practical, technically strong and solution-oriented

✅ Can independently manage multiple projects

We are NOT looking for only a 3D designer.

If you are someone who can only make attractive renders but cannot prepare detailed production drawings, understand manufacturing or coordinate with the factory, this role may not be suitable.

We are looking for a designer who understands:

DESIGN → DETAILING → DRAWING → MANUFACTURING → INSTALLATION

and can take responsibility for the complete cycle.

You will get an opportunity to work on premium retail showroom projects and be involved in the complete journey from design to manufacturing and execution.

You will work closely with a manufacturing setup where your designs are actually converted into physical retail fixtures and interiors.

There is significant scope to grow into a Design Manager / Head of Design role for the right candidate.
