Job Description

About the Role

Kimirica Hunter International is building out its Business Excellence function — covering Operational Excellence, Quality, Process Governance, and continuous improvement across the Wet and Dry Plants. We're looking for a Junior Executive to support the OE Lead in driving hands-on improvement work: time studies, 6 S, Kaizen, KPI tracking, and process documentation. This is a strong role for someone early in their career who wants direct, high-visibility exposure to how a manufacturing business actually runs — not a desk-only analytics role.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence Execution Support MOST / work-measurement studies and standard time documentation across production and warehouse operations Drive 6 S implementation and audits across assigned zones Coordinate Kaizen submissions on the digital portal — track status, follow up with initiators and HODs, support closure Assist with RCA & CAPA investigations for quality and process deviations

KPI & Performance Tracking Maintain and update departmental KPI trackers (OTIF, productivity, PM compliance, etc.) Prepare data and slides for monthly Business Excellence Reviews Support preventive maintenance schedule tracking and plan-vs-actual reporting

Process & Documentation Support SOP drafting and standardization in coordination with department HODs Maintain accurate records for ongoing OE projects (SKU rationalisation, material aging, warehouse slotting, etc.) Assist in preparing reports, trackers and presentations for leadership reviews

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Production preferred); a certification or coursework in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt) is a plus 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial operations environment Prior exposure to Lean tools (5 S/6 S, Kaizen, time & motion study) preferred but not mandatory — willingness to learn matters more than prior certification Comfortable working on the shop floor as well as at a desk — this role splits time between both

Skills & Attributes

Analytical & Data Handling

Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas); comfort with data entry, tracking and basic analysis

Communication

Able to coordinate with cross-functional teams and shop-floor staff; clear written documentation

Ownership

Follows through on tracker updates and action items without repeated reminders

Structured Thinking

Can break down a problem into root causes rather than jumping to fixes

Learning Orientation

Genuine interest in Lean / Six Sigma / process improvement as a career direction

What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months Independently runs a 6 S audit cycle and closes findings with area owners Owns the Kaizen portal tracker end-to-end — submissions logged, followed up, and closed on time Completes at least one MOST time study independently, reviewed and signed off by the OE Lead KPI trackers are accurate and updated without prompting ahead of the monthly review

Why Join This Team

This is a ground-floor opportunity to grow with a newly established Business Excellence function, working directly under the OE Lead with real exposure to plant operations, cross-functional projects, and leadership reviews. Strong performers will have a clear path to owning larger OE workstreams as the team scales
