Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support Boeing Global Services in Berkeley, MO. This position is part of the F-22 Pilot Training Systems team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced hardware engineer who can collaborate with other engineers on the architecture, design, and requirements for emerging capabilities within the F-22 training systems environment, with a focus on hardware and systems engineering.Position Responsibilities:Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutionsEvaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfacesPerforms various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecturePerforms analysis for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission successDevelops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processesResolves cross-functional technical issuesBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement3+ years of experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, or related aerospace/defense engineering workExperience with CMPRO or similar configuration management toolsExperience using computer-aided design toolsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher in Hardware or Mechanical EngineeringActive Clearance with Current SAP ClearanceExperience with Boeing Hardware procurement processesExperience with aircraft training systemsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
