Role Description This is a contract, on-site UG NX Designer role located in Surat for projects with Larsen & Toubro, delivered through Nexovate Engineering Solutions. The UG NX Designer will create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in UG NX, ensuring designs are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with project specifications and industry standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed technical drawings, supporting machine and product design activities, collaborating with mechanical engineers, and updating documentation based on design changes and client feedback. The role involves coordinating with project teams to meet timelines, resolving design-related issues, and contributing to design optimization for cost, performance, and manufacturability. The designer will also participate in design reviews and provide technical input for continuous improvement of design workflows.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with hands-on experience in UG NX or equivalent CAD platforms.
- UGNX experience of 3 years
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and detailed 2D/3D documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Experience in Machine Design, including components, assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and special purpose machines.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, with understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards.
- Exposure to Research and Development (R&D), including design validation, optimization, and problem-solving in engineering projects.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Ability to interpret client requirements, industry codes, and engineering specifications accurately.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams on-site.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple design tasks, and commitment to meeting project timelines and quality targets.
