Job DescriptionJob DescriptionROLE OVERVIEWSupport the engineering team across electrical, gasification, HVAC, and water treatment systems — an excellent entry point for engineers ready to grow within solar manufacturing facility operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist senior engineers with preventive maintenance planning and execution across all facility systemsSupport fault diagnosis and repair activities on electrical, gas, HVAC, and water treatment equipmentMaintain accurate maintenance logs, technical documentation, and work ordersAssist in reading and interpreting schematics, P&IDs, and CAD drawingsHelp enforce safety procedures and hazardous-material handling protocolsRespond to maintenance requests and support emergency repairs as neededQUALIFICATIONSAssociate's degree or higher in an engineering-related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)1+ year of experience in industrial facility maintenance or a related tradeBasic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or chemical systemsWillingness to learn PLC, SCADA, or building control systemsStrong attention to detail and documentation habitsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand, walk, kneel, and move throughout the production and utility areas for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionallyAbility to climb ladders and work at heights or in confined spaces with proper PPEAbility to wear required PPE, including cleanroom garments and chemical/electrical protective gear, for extended periodsManual dexterity for tool use and equipment assembly/repairAbility to respond quickly to maintenance calls across the facilityThis job description reflects the general nature and level of work performed and is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties and qualifications.
