Volunteer - Family Representative Group Member, Part-time/Sessional, NSW - Taree Family

We are seeking new members for our Family Representative Group. In this role you will share insights and ideas from the perspective of a support person to a young person experiencing difficulties. Your contribution to the group can be adjusted depending on you. 

Role expectations: 

• Provide ideas on physical layout and facilities so they are youth/family friendly.
• Provide ideas on service provision including advice on music, furnishings etc. 
• Aid in reviewing documents like family inclusion booklets that families are given on their introduction to our service so we reach the people who most need us.
• Meet with Centre staff a few times a year to share ideas and hear about service updates.
• Participate in interview panels for new staff members.
• Attend meetings (online or face to face).

This role is in a volunteer capacity but will contribute to many lives including our young people and their families. On occasion you will be gifted a token of appreciation as determined by the Centre Manager.
