Role Description The Junior Interior Designer internship is an on-site role based in Indore. The intern will assist senior designers with concept development, space planning, and interior layouts for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include preparing construction drawings, supporting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections, and helping develop material boards and design presentations. The role involves coordinating with the design team to update 3D models, maintain project documentation, and ensure design details are accurately communicated to vendors and contractors. Interns will also participate in site visits, measurements, and basic project coordination to gain practical exposure to the end-to-end design process.
Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
• Understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read and assist in preparing technical plans.
• Basic knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, materials, finishes, and styling for interior spaces.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and comfort with 3D visualization tools.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and aesthetic sense, with good organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with willingness to learn and take feedback in a studio environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Indore and participate in client meetings, site visits, and project coordination as needed.
