Freelance Opportunity – Workday Lease Accounting Consultant / Financials SME We are looking for an experienced Freelance Workday Lease Accounting Consultant / Workday Financials SME for a project involving Workday Lease Accounting implementation, LeaseQuery migration, reconciliation, testing, and post-go-live support . Key Responsibilities Configure and support Workday Lease Accounting for real estate, equipment, vehicles, copiers, etc. Handle ASC 842 requirements, including modifications, remeasurements, renewals and terminations. Lead LeaseQuery → Workday migration , including mapping, conversion, reconciliation and cutover. Configure GL, Business Assets, Supplier Accounts, Worktags, Spend Categories and Account Posting Rules . Reconcile ROU assets, lease liabilities, lease schedules and GL balances . Execute Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing and Production Deployment . Support month-end close, reporting, production issues and enhancements . Act as the Workday Financials / Lease Accounting SME and collaborate with Finance, Accounting, AP, Procurement and technical teams.
