Salary: $120,000 - 127,701 per year Requirements:

• We require a current CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CASP+ CE (CompTIA SecurityX), or CSSLP certification.
• We require a fully adjudicated DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
• We require at least 8 years of experience and a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related engineering field, or 6 years of experience and a masters degree in one of those fields.
• We require professional experience in information security, including leadership of large-scale initiatives.
• We require experience designing and implementing secure network architectures, Zero Trust environments, and cloud security frameworks such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We require deep familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, CMMC, or SOC 2.
• We require experience leading high-severity security incident response and conducting post-incident root cause reviews.
• We require proficiency in threat modeling frameworks such as STRIDE or PASTA.
• We require expert-level knowledge of SIEM tools such as Splunk or Sentinel, as well as EDR/XDR, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners such as Nessus or Qualys.
• We require expertise in IAM technologies including OAuth, SAML, and MFA implementation.
• We require the ability to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines using SAST and DAST tools.
• We require the ability to translate business needs into a technical security roadmap.
• We require the ability to communicate complex technical risks to non-technical executives to gain support and budget.
• We require that applicants meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II, IAM Level I, or higher certification requirements on the hire date.

• We ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified information systems.
• We enforce information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
• We analyze equipment and software reliability and suitability for vulnerability assessment.
• We assess classified network usage, hardware and software capabilities, ineffective practices or procedures, equipment shortcomings, and related factors.
• We conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of classified information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
• We perform, document, and provide recommendations to the ISSM on security audits, evaluations, and risk assessments for all classified systems.
• We update and complete Body of Evidence paperwork and supporting artifacts.
• We serve as a technical expert and focal point for cybersecurity policies, planning, programs, initiatives, certification, and accreditation.
• We provide recommendations and assistance regarding security aspects of processing, storage, retrieval, transmission, and access to classified and unclassified information.
