English Teacher (Primary & Middle School) Scotle High School is looking for a passionate and dynamic English Teacher who believes in nurturing confident communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong readers. The ideal candidate should be committed to creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences and fostering a love for the English language. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for students in Grades 1–8. Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills. Foster a strong reading culture through literature, storytelling, discussions, and creative writing. Create an inclusive, positive, and well-managed classroom environment. Assess student learning, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development. Participate actively in school events, professional development programmes, and departmental initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in English with a B.Ed. Experience teaching English at the Primary or Middle School level is preferred. Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication skills. Passion for innovative, activity-based, and inquiry-driven teaching. Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
