FPV Drone Engineer and Pilot

We are looking for a skilled FPV Engineer and Pilot to design, assemble, configure, test and operate FPV drones. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with FPV systems, flight controllers, radio systems and drone troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, assemble and integrate FPV drones for different applications.
• Configure and tune flight controllers using Betaflight, INAV or ArduPilot.
• Install and configure motors, ESCs, receivers, cameras, VTX and telemetry systems.
• Operate FPV drones safely in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Conduct flight tests and evaluate stability, range, endurance and overall performance.
• Diagnose and repair hardware, electrical, communication and flight-control issues.
• Perform soldering, wiring, component replacement and routine maintenance.
• Configure radio transmitters, receivers, goggles and analog/digital video systems.
• Maintain flight logs, test reports and technical documentation.
• Support FPV demonstrations, training programmes and field trials.
• Ensure compliance with operational safety procedures and applicable drone regulations.
• Assist in component selection, procurement and inventory management.

Required Skills:

• Practical experience in assembling, configuring and flying FPV drones.
• Proficiency in Betaflight, INAV and/or ArduPilot.
• Strong understanding of motors, ESCs, propellers, batteries and power systems.
• Experience with ELRS, Crossfire or similar radio-control systems.
• Familiarity with analog and digital FPV video systems.
• Good soldering, wiring, calibration and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform manual, stabilized and acrobatic FPV flights.
• Understanding of LiPo battery handling and operational safety.
• Ability to work during outdoor demonstrations and field trials.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Relevant FPV drone-building and piloting experience is essential.
• DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate is preferred.
• Participation in FPV racing, drone competitions or development projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in FPV drones integration and flying.
• Able to work independently and solve technical problems in the field.
• Willing to travel for demonstrations, training and testing activities.
