Job Description

Role Purpose

To act as a strategic and operational partner for Federal Ziauddin University, ensuring effective HR service delivery, supporting academic and administrative excellence, and aligning HR practices with institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a bridge between HR and academic/administrative departments
• Work closely with Deans, HODs, and location managers on HR matters
• Manage day-to-day HR operations for faculty and location-based staff
• Address employee queries related to policies, benefits, payroll, and HR systems.
• Ensure implementation of HR policies training across faculty and staff & drive awareness of HR systems and processes
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for faculty and staff roles and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes
• Handle employee grievances and provide timely resolution
• Act as the first point of contact for disciplinary matters. Conduct investigations, coordinate with relevant staff to issue warnings, and manage misconduct cases
• Support managers in performance evaluation and feedback
• Support OD initiatives such as restructuring, change management, and culture building & assist in workforce planning and organizational design
• Promote employee engagement initiatives
• Identify training needs in collaboration with departments & coordinate learning programs technical, academic, leadership
• Maintain employee records and HRIS accuracy
• Track and analyze HR metrics turnover, hiring, performance, engagement
