About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and student-focused English Educator to teach learners from Classes 1 to 5 . The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience teaching the ICSE and/or IB curriculum at the primary level.

The educator will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, developing strong English language skills, and supporting students in building a strong academic foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare engaging English lessons and courses for Classes 1 to 5, aligned with the ICSE and/or IB curriculum.
• Maintain strong and up-to-date subject knowledge and use age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centred classroom instruction.
• Motivate and facilitate learning according to the individual educational needs of students.
• Plan and deliver lessons that cater to students with different learning abilities.
• Prepare weekly assignments, worksheets, and assessments for assigned batches.
• Ensure timely correction, evaluation, and marking of students' assignments and classwork.
• Assess, record, and report students' academic development and progress.
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to students to support their learning and development.
• Communicate with parents and provide feedback on students' progress during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) or as required.
• Develop students' English language skills, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, communication, and critical thinking .
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Understand the learning needs of Foundation Course students and support them in developing strong academic fundamentals.
• Work collaboratively with the Lead Educator and academic team in planning and implementing the curriculum.
• Assist the Lead Educator with relevant academic and administrative responsibilities.
• Make effective use of technology and digital resources to enhance classroom learning.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of teaching experience , preferably in a school environment.
• Strong academic background and subject knowledge in English .
• Experience teaching Classes 1 to 5 .
• Experience teaching the ICSE and/or IB curriculum at the primary level is preferred.
• Post-Graduation in English or a relevant subject is mandatory; B.Ed. is preferred.
• Strong understanding of primary-level teaching and learning requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills .
• Strong presentation, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools and resources for teaching.
• Experience in scholastic examination preparation or Foundation-level academic training will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Lead Educators and the academic team.
• Strong inclination towards continuous learning and professional development .
• Willingness to work in Bengaluru North .
