Accountant Location: Uganda Organization: Private University Department: Finance & Accounts Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the university's financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support effective financial management. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in educational institutions (preferred), and the ability to work independently while supporting the Finance Department. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements. Process payments, receipts, invoices, and journal entries. Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a regular basis. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
