Account executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive Trainee to join our Financial Accounting team. You should have a thorough understanding of the basics of Financial Accounting, Accounting Standards, Taxation & Compliance Requirements in addition to a sound knowledge of a standard accounting software like Tally Prime.

As an Accounts Executive Trainee, you will be assisting with the routine Financial Accounting activities of the Accounts Department.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining financial records and transactions on Tally / Proprietary software. Assist in the use of internal financial tools to generate reports and perform basic financial analysis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Collaborate with the team to gather and organize financial information for reporting purposes. Essentially generating reports as and when requested by the Management Provide support during audits and reviews by preparing necessary documentation and assisting with data verification. Assist with basic tax-related tasks and handling tax filing and statutory compliance activities. Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments to resolve accounting issues and address inquiries.

Skills & Qualification Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent Proficiency in using a Standard Accounting Software like Tally is compulsory. Excellent Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to work with internal financial tools and software. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis. Strong organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Thorough knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus. Relevant internships or prior work experience in accounting is beneficial. Proficiency in GST, EPF, ESI and routine filing of reports is essential.
