- School Operations: Oversee daily office operations, maintain organized systems, and ensure the smooth functioning of the administrative office.
- Compliance & Safety: Manage DFPS Minimum Standards compliance, conduct campus inspections, and maintain accurate regulatory records.
- Office Administration: Coordinate calendars, communications, office supplies, student and staff records, and administrative workflows.
- Staffing & HR Support: Manage daily staffing schedules, monitor employee timekeeping, and provide administrative support to the Head of School.
- Technology & Systems: Maintain proficiency in school management platforms and support accurate data management across office systems.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise office support staff, collaborate with school leadership, and assist with special projects, events, and fundraising initiatives.
- Family & Community Relations: Serve as a welcoming first point of contact while providing exceptional service to students, families, staff, and visitors.
- Facilities Support: Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment while coordinating with facilities staff as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of administrative experience in a school, childcare, or similar environment.
- Knowledge of Texas DFPS Minimum Standards or the ability to demonstrate competency during the interview process.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong spreadsheet creation and data management skills.
- Experience with school management platforms such as Transparent Classroom, Brightwheel, ADP, Canva, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Successful completion of all required fingerprint background checks and licensing requirements.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform routine office duties, lift office supplies as needed, move throughout campus, and occasionally support classrooms or school operations during emergency staffing needs.
