Job Details Job Details: Our company is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join our client with mulitple openings throughout Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including scheduling, procurement, change order pricing, and negotiating. This role will also involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: Lead and manage complex mechanical projects from inception to completion. Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation. Handle change order pricing and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, including construction, design, finance, and management. Ensure all projects comply with corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards. Maintain a thorough understanding of the impact of these practices and processes on project activities. Utilize MS Office and other software systems to manage projects and create reports. Handle stressful situations with professionalism and diplomacy. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, preferably in the mechanical contracting industry. A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Science, or equivalent levels of technical training and related experience. A thorough understanding of construction design, finance, and management. Strong knowledge of corporate and industry practices, processes, and standards and their impact on project activities. OSHA-30 certification. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability or drive to learn new software systems. Experience with project budgets and commercial projects. Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills. Ability to be courteous, professional, and diplomatic in stressful situations. Strong leadership and team management skills.
