Responsibilities
* Plan and manage patient care according to each patient's needs.
* Interview patients and record their medical history and physical condition.
* Obtain patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
* Provide routine care for patients; observe patients' health; assist with patient comfort.
* Assist physicians and registered nurses; prepare specimens for lab courier.
* Provide wound care; prepare and administer injections and/or enemas; monitor catheters.
Requirements
* Completion of state-approved LPN program.
* Current LPN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
* Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required.
* BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
