Senior Architect (Commercial Architecture Projects)

An architecture and design practice in Bidhannagar, West Bengal  is hiring a Senior Architect (Team Lead) with 10–12 years of professional experience to lead architecture projects from concept through project completion. The role involves project planning, design development, client coordination, team leadership, consultant management, quality control, and project delivery while ensuring projects are completed in accordance with project requirements, budgets, schedules, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture projects from inception through project completion.
• Understand the design direction from the Principal Architect and develop design proposals and project presentations.
• Develop project plans, including project scope, budgets, schedules, and project milestones.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, presentations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other consultants throughout project development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Mentor and supervise architects, designers, and project team members.
• Review project documentation to maintain quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and support implementation of design intent.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks related to budgets, schedules, and project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is required.
• 10–12 years of professional experience in architecture and project management.
• Experience leading architecture projects from design through execution.
• Experience managing residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, or master planning projects will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in CAD software and architectural design tools.
• Knowledge of architectural design, project planning, technical documentation, and construction processes.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Leadership, project management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining project quality and delivery schedules.
• Willingness to travel for project-related requirements when required.

Work Schedule

• Location:   Bidhannagar, West Bengal
• Working days: Monday to Saturday (9:30 am to 6:30 pm)
