Poddar Group of Institutions is looking for a dynamic, committed and student-focused Computer Science / IT Faculty to join its academic team. The candidate will be responsible for effective classroom and practical teaching, student mentoring, project guidance and participation in academic and institutional activities.

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and practical/laboratory sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments and other academic resources.
• Ensure timely completion of the assigned syllabus as per the academic calendar.
• Teach core Computer Science/IT subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Web Technologies, AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, etc.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
• Mentor students and provide guidance for projects, internships, certifications and career development.
• Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions, technical events and workshops.
• Guide academic/industry-oriented projects and promote practical learning.
• Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, FDPs and institutional activities.
• Keep updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Contribute to curriculum development, research and other academic initiatives, wherever applicable.

• Master's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• UGC-NET/SET/Ph.D. will be preferred, wherever applicable.
• Candidates with relevant teaching and/or industry experience will be preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge and programming skills are essential.
• Freshers with excellent academic credentials and strong technical skills may also be considered.
