This role focuses on high-quality execution across analysis, review and challenge, documentation, process controls, governance support, and submission readiness. You’ll partner with Finance, Treasury, Business and Risk stakeholders across United States HSBC North America Holdings and Group to ensure outputs are accurate, well-controlled, explainable and regulator ready. Success means producing decision-useful analysis and senior management materials, maintaining a robust audit trail, and meeting key delivery milestones. You’ll also help strengthen the stress testing control environment and improve processes and tooling over each cycle.What you'll be doingSupport delivery of the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review and other United States and Group stress tests in line with agreed timelines and governanceExecute model runs and results production for balance sheet and profit and loss components including loans, deposits, non-interest revenue and miscellaneous assets and liabilitiesPerform movement and variance analysis, sensitivities, and trend reviews to identify key drivers in stress test outputsPrepare commentary, presentations, and documentation for senior management suitable for governance forumsProduce regulatory submissions including the Federal Reserve Y-14A and Federal Reserve Y-14Q pre-provision net revenue with quality assurance and controls to support regulatory complianceConduct and document Review and Challenge checks on reasonableness, completeness, and adherence to standards and close out follow-up questionsMaintain stress testing documentation including methodology narratives, run books, evidence packs, control checklists and assumptions and decision logsCoordinate across Treasury Finance, Risk, model development, businesses, Model Risk, Regulatory Reporting, Technology and Group to manage dependencies, schedules, and delivery trackingWhat we're looking forBring demonstrable experience in an analytical role within a bank or large financial services firm within Treasury, Finance, Capital Planning, Financial Planning and Analysis or RiskApply proven experience supporting stress testing activities with preference for prior Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review experienceProduce regulator and senior management-ready documentation and maintain a robust audit trailDeliver time-sensitive analytical outputs with strong attention to detail and governance disciplineExecute quantitative analysis including variance analysis, driver attribution, reconciliations, and quality checksConvert technical outputs into clear written narratives for governance and decision-makingUse advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills to build packs and supporting materialsManage cross-stakeholder delivery and dependencies under tight deadlines including working across teams and time zonesStrengthening Stress Test ReadinessThis role offers the scope to deliver stress testing outputs that are accurate, explainable, and well-controlled. You’ll contribute to regulatory submissions, governance packs, and evidence that support capital planning and stress testing outcomes.
