Salary: $60,000–$80,000
Position Overview
OFFICEforce is recruiting a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for a growing manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse or shipping professional to step into a leadership role with responsibility for a critical part of the operation.
You’ll lead a team, oversee shipping and receiving, maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate material flow, and work closely with Production and other departments to keep operations running smoothly. What You'll Do
- Supervise and support shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material-handling employees.
- Plan daily workloads, schedules, staffing, and priorities.
- Oversee incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate material staging and availability to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory transactions.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality, and other departments.
- Monitor orders and production schedules and communicate potential delays or issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, organization, and material flow.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or manufacturing operations.
- 3+ years of supervisory, leadership, scheduling, or team-coordination experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Operations is a plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus, or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to obtain required HazMat/DOT-related certifications and training.

Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on manufacturing and warehouse leadership position requiring regular walking and standing, climbing stairs or ladders as needed, handling materials, and lifting up to 55 pounds. The role may involve exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and moving equipment. Appropriate PPE and respiratory protection may be required.
