CDL Driver Recruiter

We’re hiring an experienced Driver Recruiter to support a large transportation operation in the Chicago market. This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who understands CDL drivers, trucking, and what it takes to successfully get drivers hired and into seats.
The Opportunity: Source, recruit, qualify, and hire CDL drivers and Owner-Operators/Independent Contractors Support a busy Chicago operation with 80 drivers and approximately 200 loads per day Work directly with regional transportation leadership Full-time, onsite schedule: Monday–Friday Competitive benefits through BCBS
What We’re Looking For: Proven success recruiting and placing CDL drivers Transportation, trucking, or logistics recruiting experience Understanding of DOT/FMCSA driver qualifications and safety requirements Experience recruiting both company drivers and Owner-Operators is a plus Strong sourcing skills with the ability to proactively xzbcwsv identify and engage drivers Ability to understand what motivates different driver populations, including miles, rates, lanes, home time, equipment, operating costs, and earning potential
