Role Description

The IB PYP Consultant will provide academic leadership and guidance for the implementation and enhancement of the IB Primary Years Programme across the school(s).

This full-time, on-site role based in nOIDA involves mentoring and supporting teachers in IB PYP pedagogy, facilitating professional development sessions, and ensuring alignment with IB standards and practices. The consultant will collaborate with school leadership on curriculum planning, inquiry-based learning frameworks, and assessment design. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing teaching plans, observing classroom practices, providing feedback, supporting authorization/evaluation processes, and coordinating with the IB organization as needed. The consultant will also help foster a learner-centered environment that promotes international-mindedness and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of teaching experience in IBPYP curriculum and at least 8 years as PYPC.
• Strong expertise in IB Primary Years Programme curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, with experience in implementing or coordinating IB PYP in schools.
• Demonstrated skills in teacher training, instructional coaching, and professional development design for primary educators.
• Proficiency in curriculum planning, inquiry-based learning design, and integration of transdisciplinary themes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills for working with teachers, school leaders, and external partners.
• Ability to analyze academic data, review teaching practices, and recommend evidence-based improvements.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field; formal IB PYP training or certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a primary school setting, ideally in an international or IB school environment.
• Strong organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
