Job Description
We are seeking a high‑initiative, self‑driven Senior Audit Associate to lead backend audit operations for U. S. clients. This role requires someone who can take ownership, work independently, manage deadlines without supervision, and deliver high‑quality audit workpapers aligned with U. S. standards.
You will prepare workpapers, guide junior staff, coordinate with U. S. teams, and ensure audit quality across multiple engagements
Location: New Delhi

Reporting To: Senior Audit Manager (USA)
Firm: VG CPA PC (USA)
The Audit Associate will support U. S. audit engagements including workpaper preparation, testing, documentation, reconciliations, and audit evidence gathering. This is a backend role supporting U. S. CPAs with high‑quality audit execution.
Key Responsibilities Lead and execute backend audit procedures for U. S. clients
Review workpapers prepared by junior associates and ensure accuracy
Perform advanced audit testing: substantive procedures, analytical review, walkthroughs
Prepare documentation for high‑risk audit areas
Independently manage timelines, deliverables, and follow‑ups
Coordinate directly with U. S. audit managers and communicate clearly
Identify audit issues and propose practical solutions
Train and mentor junior audit staff
Maintain organized audit files and ensure compliance with firm methodology
Work in U. S. shift overlap
Required Qualifications CA Inter / CA Final (preferred)/CPA
4–7 years of audit experience in CA firms or Big 4/Big 6
Strong understanding of audit methodology and documentation standards
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent English communication (written + verbal)
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
Experience reviewing workpapers and managing small teams
Preferred Qualifications Experience with U. S. GAAP or U. S. audit processes
Experience in international audit support teams
Familiarity with Quick Books, Case Ware, or other audit software
Strong initiative, ownership mindset, and problem‑solving abilit
