SENIOR PURCHASE EXECUTIVE - FOOTWEAR Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Job Type: Full-Time Work Mode : On-Site Location: Chandigarh Experience Required: 3–5 Years Salary: up to 50k Link: Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive – Footwear to oversee procurement activities related to footwear raw materials, sole components, packaging materials, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing footwear manufacturing materials, vendor development, inventory planning, and cost optimization while ensuring uninterrupted production operations. Key Responsibilities Source and procure footwear raw materials, sole materials, components, and packaging materials based on business requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure reliable sourcing and supply continuity. Manage procurement of footwear materials including EVA, TPE, TPU, foam, neoprene, rubber, adhesives, and other related compounds. Maintain knowledge of footwear manufacturing materials, including uppers, linings, insoles, outsoles, trims, and packaging components. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock availability. Analyze inventory movement, purchasing trends, and demand forecasts to support procurement planning. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and supplier agreements to achieve cost efficiencies. Coordinate with production, quality assurance, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure timely material availability. Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for vendor development and process improvement. Stay informed about market trends, new materials, and sourcing opportunities within the footwear industry. Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentation in accordance with company policies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management within the footwear industry. Experience working with footwear raw materials, sole compounds, packaging materials, and manufacturing components. Knowledge of supplier management, vendor development, and procurement best practices. Understanding of inventory planning and stock management processes.
