Cost Accountant

Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 7-3, Monday - Friday Expected Hours: 40 Our client creates custom liquid and solid paints and finishes to assist with a wide range of industries, including automotive, leather, wood, and metal. They are looking for a cost accountant to join their team and assist as a liaison between the accounting and production team to ensure they are efficiently tracking their inventory and staying on budget. Review and analyze inventory activity, movements, batch closings, etc. to ensure accuracy Calculate and maintain Labor and Manufacturing rates for product costing Coordinate with production supervisors and plant manager to oversee tabulating ticket count, entry into summary spreadsheets and entry into ERP software.
