Job Description

The IGCSE Chemistry Teacher Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based Chemistry lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The role focuses The IGCSE Chemistry Teacher Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based Chemistry lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The role focuses on developing students' scientific knowledge, practical laboratory skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities while fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. The teacher will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and the wider academic life of the school.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a closely related Science discipline.
• B.Ed. or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry or an equivalent international curriculum.
• Strong understanding of the Cambridge Chemistry syllabus, practical assessment requirements, and examination standards.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting safe and effective laboratory sessions.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
