Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

• Hours/Week: 40 hours

• Licensing: Furnishing License (NP), CA Controlled Substance Certificate (PA), DEA
• Experience: 3+ years in a family practice setting

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00

• Provide outpatient primary care to pediatric and adult patients
• Conduct patient exams, history-taking, and assessments
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
• Perform necessary immunizations and health screenings
• Document clinical notes efficiently, ensuring chart closure within 72 hours
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care
• Assist with patient education and follow-up care planning

• Active Furnishing License with Schedule II (NP) or CA Controlled Substance Certificate (PA)
• DEA registration before start date
• 3+ years of relevant experience in family practice
• Immunizations including flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap
• Must be willing to enroll or be enrolled in MediCal (ORP preferred)

• Experience with pediatric and adult patients
• Ability to work independently within a team setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
