HR Generalist

We are hiring an HR Generalist to support hiring, onboarding, and people operations as H2O Labs grows. You will help candidates have a clear, respectful experience and help managers build strong, well-supported teams.

This is a hands-on people role covering recruiting coordination, employee lifecycle processes, and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-moving technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruiting logistics: job posts, screening schedules, interview feedback, and offer follow-through.
• Run onboarding for new hires so tools, introductions, and expectations are ready from day one.
• Maintain accurate employee records and support leave, attendance, and basic policy questions.
• Partner with leadership on culture rituals, engagement check-ins, and continuous improvement of people processes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-4 years in HR coordination, people operations, or recruiting support.
• Process discipline: Strong organization skills and comfort managing multiple open roles and employee requests at once.
• Communication: Clear, empathetic written and verbal communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Tools: Familiarity with ATS/HRIS tools and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Judgment: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred.
