As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Encompass Health, you’ll support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering evidence-based rehabilitation to patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and complex medical events. You’ll follow established care plans, lead therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility sessions while documenting progress in the EMR. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you’ll educate patients and families, ensure safety and infection control standards, and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, compassion, and continuous learning.
