Role Overview:-
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable microservices and APIs that power our B2 B and B2 C products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to build systems that are robust, performant, and ready for scale. This is a critical role that requires engineering leadership, high ownership, and a product-thinking mindset.
What You’ll Do:-
● Architect, build, and deploy high-performance backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) for both our B2 B and B2 C platforms.
● Design and manage scalable microservices integrated with Mongo DB, My SQL, Redis, and external APIs.
● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to translate user needs into technical solutions.
● Lead code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and improve system reliability and performance. ● Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to tech roadmap discussions.
● Own feature delivery end-to-end, including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
What You Bring:-
Core Technical Skills
● 2–6 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot, REST APIs). ● Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
● Proficiency with Mongo DB, My SQL, and Redis (including caching, pub/sub).
● Working knowledge of Docker, Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
● Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Mindset & Traits:-
● Product-first thinking; capable of balancing tech debt with business value. ● A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
● Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments.
● A team player who mentors peers and uplifts the engineering culture. Bonus Points
● Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Kubernetes.
