Job Description

Job Description

ABOUT DERBY DENTAL LAB

Derby Dental Lab is a family-founded dental laboratory that has served dentists across Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee since the 1980s. We are known for quality restorations, strong relationships, and continuous improvement.

We are growing, building systems to scale, and looking for a leader who wants real responsibility and a seat close to ownership.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing & Field Growth Manager connects our marketing, our data, and our field team. You will lead and coordinate our Client Success Representatives (CSRs), own our social media and marketing content, and turn sales and market data into clear direction for the team.

You will partner closely with our Client Success Manager, run the weekly CSR meeting, review results, and keep everyone accountable to shared goals. This is primarily an in-office role, with some travel alongside CSRs to visit customers.

You will work directly with ownership and collaborate with sales, customer service, production, and leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and Coordinate the Field Team

  • Run the weekly CSR meeting: set the agenda, review results, and follow up on commitments
  • Track CSR activity and performance against goals, and hold the team accountable
  • Partner with the Client Success Manager on priorities, coaching, and customer issues
  • Coordinate growth initiatives and messaging so every rep delivers the same story
  • Travel with CSRs periodically to meet customers and understand the field firsthand

Marketing, Content, and Social Media

  • Plan and execute a monthly content calendar across our social channels
  • Capture photos and short-form video in the lab and in the field
  • Edit and post content using simple tools and AI-assisted software
  • Create content that CSRs can easily share with their customers
  • Manage collateral projects such as flyers, product sheets, and sample kits
  • Coordinate website updates, including pages built on AI web-building platforms
  • Work with outside vendors to keep projects on schedule

Analytics and Reporting

  • Pull and analyze sales, customer, and marketing data to spot trends
  • Measure which products, campaigns, and messages are gaining traction
  • Build simple reports and dashboards for leadership and the CSR team
  • Identify friction points between sales and production, and recommend fixes

Sales Tools and Systems

  • Maintain our sales platform (iCortica) so it matches how the team actually works
  • Keep playbooks, reference materials, and collateral current
  • Make sure reps have the samples, tools, and system access they need

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience leading, coordinating, or managing a team, ideally in sales, account management, or customer success
  • Comfort running meetings, setting expectations, and having direct accountability conversations
  • Strong analytical skills, confident with spreadsheets, KPIs, and turning data into decisions
  • A creative eye and hands-on ability with social media, photo, and short-form video
  • Organized, self-directed, and able to manage several projects at once
  • Comfortable learning new technology, including CRM, AI, and web-building tools
  • Clear, confident communicator with field reps, customers, and leadership

Dental experience is helpful but not required. Graphic design experience is not required;
familiarity with templates and simple design tools is a plus.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Full-time, onsite in Louisville, KY
  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Some regional travel with CSRs to visit customers
  • Reports directly to ownership;
works closely with the Client Success Manager
  • Private office in our modern 20,000 sq ft facility, with clean, bright production and office space

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Salary range of $60,000 to $80,000, based on level of experience
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity
  • Health, dental, vision, and long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Room to grow responsibilities as the company scales

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

You will be the person who keeps our field team aligned, our message consistent, and our decisions grounded in data. If you enjoy leading people, digging into numbers, and creating content that actually gets used, we would love to hear from you.
